    Professional talks – extreme motivation, ultimate adversity

    Dr.Antony Jinman, Explorer and founder of Education Through Expeditions


    Biography

    The Geographic North Pole expedition saw Antony and his two team mates traverse over 500 miles from Cape Discovery to the Geographic North Pole in just 51 days by ski, snow shoe and even swimming, to collect valuable scientific data for Plymouth University. He has now completed 12 Arctic Expeditions and can deliver powerful presentations with HD films and photographs.

    Josephine Beynon- Education and Outreach Officer

    Biography

    Josephine read Biological Sciences (Zoology) at the University of Edinburgh and became President of their Expedition Society, ‘ExpEd’. Whilst there, she embarked on two undergraduate scientific research expeditions to the rainforests of Borneo and the savannahs of Gabon. She also accompanied Antony on an Arctic Expedition to Baffin Island, gaining valuable knowledge of the landscape and its native people. Josephine also has a PGCE under her belt.
